Given the challenging economic times in the world today, it's important for us to seek guidance and wisdom for financial success and independence in God's word, the Bible.

There are over two-thousand scriptures in the Bible about money and possessions, which is twice the number of scriptures about faith and prayer. The Bible emphasizes the significance of economics and biblical finance in the lives of believers. It provides insight into fundamental rules and principles that enable God's provision for His people, support for the local church, and promotion of missions worldwide.

God desires prosperity for His children, delighting in their success (Psalm 35:27). The Bible promises that God's children shall enjoy wealth (Proverbs 13:22), live abundantly (John 10:10), prosper (3 John 2), and achieve good success (Joshua 1:8). It also offers wisdom on managing debt (Romans 13:7-8), managing money wisely (Luke 14:28-30), and making a financial plan and working it through. Even in times of hardship, God assures us of His divine providence (Luke 12:22-34; Matthew 6:25-34).

"But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in a glory by Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19).
